Sacred Voice is an internet gallery that periodically stages exhibitions outside the virtual environment. Check out the What's New Page for up coming shows.
Founded by Painter Ian Pearson and Sculptor John Wiles, The Sacred Voice Gallery is devoted to the primal mediums that they regard as the sacred voice of humanity. The artists intend to show through their work that these media are as powerful today as they were at the dawn of human expression. Ian Pearson and John Wiles both work in a figurative style inspired by surrealism and pop art. Thematically much of their work involves debunking the myths of western civilization. Ian's work explores symbolic meanings of characters and events from the past and their influence on the present. John's work focuses on issues of spiritual, ecological and social morality. In addition to their efforts to communicate through their art, both Ian Pearson and John Wiles pride themselves on the technical quality and aesthetic beauty of their creations.
